Do I need Ray-Ban Meta glasses?

No. Phone cameras and screen sharing work out of the box. Glasses add the first-person view — that's the headline act, but the show runs without it.

Connecting your glasses

1. Pair your glasses with the Meta AI app and update both to the latest version.
2. In the Meta AI app: Settings → App Info → tap the App version number 5 times. A Developer Mode toggle appears — turn it on. (This is Meta's supported way of enabling third-party glasses apps.)
3. In MetaStreaming, tap "Connect to Meta Glasses" on the setup screen and approve the request in the Meta AI app. You'll be sent right back.

Stream keys

Pick a platform on the setup screen and paste its stream key — the app links you straight to the page where each platform keeps it. Kick, TikTok, and custom RTMP also need their Server URL, shown right next to the key. YouTube can instead be linked as an account, and MetaStreaming creates broadcasts for you — no key needed.

Multistreaming

Add keys for several platforms, then flip on every destination you want before going live. All of them receive the same stream simultaneously. A destination that drops reconnects on its own without affecting the others.

Recording

Switch the mode from Go Live to Record. Recordings — and optional local copies of your live streams — are saved to your Photos library.

The stream stops when I switch apps

Streaming continues in the background — only the preview pauses. To share your screen while streaming, enable the Screen source and use the picture-in-picture window to keep an eye on your feed.
